A day-by-day route
Short itinerary
Day 01Arrive in Kathmandu
Airport transfer, hotel check-in and a pre-trek briefing with your guide.
Day 02Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding
Take the mountain flight to Lukla and follow the Dudh Koshi Valley to Phakding.
Day 03–04Trek to Namche Bazaar
Cross suspension bridges and climb through pine forest to the Sherpa capital, with an acclimatization day in Namche.
Day 05–08Trek through Tengboche to Lobuche
Continue past Tengboche Monastery and the high villages of Dingboche and Lobuche.
Day 09Everest Base Camp and Gorak Shep
Reach the base camp beside the Khumbu Glacier before returning to Gorak Shep for the night.
Day 10–12Kala Patthar and descent to Namche
Watch sunrise from Kala Patthar, then retrace the trail through the Khumbu Valley.
Day 13–14Return to Kathmandu
Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu and keep time for a relaxed final evening or onward departure.
