trekking in the himalayas — life lessons

trekking journey 2024 - mdt
We recently did a half a day trekking to Makalidurga Hill, Doddabalapura, Bangalore Rural, located about 60kms from Bangalore city. India Hikes has a nice article explaining the trek, in fact we heard about this place from their article. In this post, we would like to cover a few takeaways for LiftOff as a team.

my solo travel and himalayan summit climb story as a 22 year old trekking enthusiast!
Hi there! I recently had the wonderful opportunity to go on a solo vacation and trek in the Himalayas on the DeoriaTal-Chandrashila trail, and this blog will be about my experiences on the same. IndiaHikes has always said “Trekking Transforms Lives”, and my oh my, I know in my heart, that the mountains have transformed me. I also have received many questions about travelling solo as a young female in India, and I will be writing a bit about that as well! Trust me, I was just as nervous when I planned this trek, but it was the best thing that has ever happened to me!
