Choose the right season
Spring and autumn usually bring the clearest mountain views. Winter is quieter but colder, while monsoon routes need extra planning. We will match the route and departure date to the conditions.
Trekking tips
Good preparation lets you spend less time worrying about the next climb and more time enjoying where the trail takes you.
Spring and autumn usually bring the clearest mountain views. Winter is quieter but colder, while monsoon routes need extra planning. We will match the route and departure date to the conditions.
Start six to eight weeks before departure. Combine steady cardio, stairs or hills, leg strength and back-to-back walking days so your body is comfortable moving for several hours.
Wear your trekking shoes on multiple long walks with the socks you plan to pack. Comfortable, waterproof footwear matters more than brand or appearance.
Bring a breathable base layer, warm mid-layer and waterproof shell. Keep your daypack light and include water, sun protection, snacks, gloves and a warm hat.
Check that your passport, Nepal visa, permits and emergency contacts are accessible. Carry digital and paper copies, and confirm that your insurance covers trekking at your route’s maximum altitude.
Share relevant conditions, allergies and medication with us before the trek. Ask a qualified clinician for personal medical advice, especially for high-altitude itineraries.
